Where AI fits into our work, and where it doesn't.
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Turkey Burg Creative Ltd. ("Turkey Burg," "we," "us," or "our") is a marketing agency, and we use AI tools the way most agencies now do: to move faster on the parts of the job that benefit from speed. This page sets out what that looks like in practice, both on our own site and in the work we do for clients, and where a person is always the one holding the pen.
1. The Short Version
We use AI the way we'd use a capable but unaccountable junior team member: good for a first pass, never left alone to make the call. Adam Singfield or another Turkey Burg team member reviews and signs off on anything that ships, whether it's a blog post, an ad, a client strategy document, or a line of code.
2. Where We Actually Use It
Research organization, outlining, first drafts, copy editing, code scaffolding, and rough visual concepts are the main places AI shows up in our process. It doesn't set client strategy, decide brand positioning, or approve final creative on its own; those calls stay with a person who knows the business the work is for.
3. Nothing Goes Out Unchecked
Any number, quote, citation, or claim that came from an AI tool gets checked against a real source before it's used, in our own content and in client deliverables alike. If we can't verify something, it doesn't go in the final version, and where a claim is genuinely uncertain we say so rather than presenting a guess as settled.
4. Matching Our Own Voice
Adam maintains an internal reference doc flagging the writing habits that give AI drafts away: corporate filler words, formulaic openers, the same three-item list structure repeated everywhere, robotic transitions. Every piece of copy gets checked against it before it's published, because the point of AI assistance is speed, not a house style that could belong to anyone.
5. What We Flag and What We Don't
We don't announce every time AI helped fix a typo or reformat a paragraph; that would be noise, not disclosure. What we will always tell you plainly is when a photo, a voice, or a likeness of a real person was generated rather than captured, since that's the kind of thing a reader or client deserves to know without having to ask.
6. Where We Draw the Line
We won't use AI to invent a statistic, a testimonial, or a source that doesn't exist. We won't put words in a real person's mouth without their say-so, or pass off AI-generated work as someone else's original writing. We won't use it to mass-produce spam or content aimed at any group in a discriminatory way, and we won't let it make a decision on a client's behalf that carries real consequences without a person checking it first.
7. Client Information Stays Put
A client's financial records, internal strategy, or anything covered by an NDA doesn't get pasted into an AI tool on our own judgment call. If using AI on sensitive client material would genuinely help the work, we ask the client first, and whatever that client has agreed to in writing takes precedence over the general practice described here.
8. This Page Will Change
AI tools and the norms around them are still moving. We'll update this page as our own practices change, and the effective date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
